we give back to the community

The Chocolate Mint Foundation believes in “Paying it Forward. By offering programs that mentor our youth, invest in academic scholarships, nurture struggling families and train our youth for the future, we continue to be a shining light in our society.

We provide mentoring programs that help our youth grow positive attributes and succeed in life.

Education is important to every child. TCMF offers academic scholarships to offset financial costs.

No child or family should go without a healthy meal. Our food pantry helps fight hunger.

By providing the tools and resources necessary for the future, we are empowering our youth.

“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

our vision

The Chocolate MINT Foundation is dedicated to nurturing, education, and promoting economic growth and social awareness to children, young adults, and families. Our goal is for them to have a positive outlook in life and a new sense of self-worth which will empower them individually and collectively thereby improving the quality of life for all.  We do this by offering dedicated services for children and youth which includes youth mentoring, financial literacy, career training and summer internships for teens, and summer and after school enrichment programming for children.

The Chocolate Mint Foundation desires to make a difference in the world and is doing so one child and family at a time.

our history

Founded in 2009 by President and Executive Director, Felicia Frazier, to address the lack of affordable enrichment programs for children whose parents had little to no economic resources, The Chocolate MINT has filled a necessary gap in the community. It has now grown to support children and families throughout the Great Southwest region in the North Texas Metroplex through youth mentoring and career training programs, a food pantry dedicated to alleviate hunger and provide supplemental food assistance for families and senior adults, and children and youth enrichment programs held during the summer and after school throughout the school year.

a note from our FOUNDER

I have been incredibly fortunate in my life to never experience the difficulties I see in the world every day. I can’t imagine what it’s like to go hungry - and I think it’s a shame that in a country as great as ours, anyone should.

With that desire in my heart, I preside over The Chocolate Mint Foundation. We’re all looking to make a difference in our world and I believe that by "Paying it Forward" in our communities, we will make a substantial impact. The world is made up of organizations and people that care, and if we all do our part, the results will pay huge dividends with love, care, and a better world.

We do a lot to improve life for people and communities in need!
